OneNote should allow me to create pics & diagrams.

While taking notes in class lectures - sometimes one is given a picture or
diagram that would be nice to recreate within the notes, so as to refer back
to it during study - especially if that diagram may be part of a test later
on. As of right now, it seems that OneNote only allows importation of
pictures - which doesn't help when you need to create a pic, unless you open
another application, create it there, save it, and then import the pic into
OneNote. Very time-consuming. If the tools available within the office suite
were to be available in OneNote - it would make a world of difference to my
note taking.

The first reaction to this claim will be:
OneNote is not designed to have the advanced feautres.
Which I dont agree.
I agree with you that tables should be made.
Also block alignment should be allowed.
But maybe, there things we do not know... If advanced features are added,
that may
make 1note slower. And this would not be pleasent since notetaking is
a matter of being quick. So one also should be careful in claiming things.
But still a simple table tool would be useful

In what manner are you obtaining the picture or diagram? Are you trying
to draw your own rendition or taking a digital picture or ?
