OneNote should allow me to paste stuff directly from Excel and pr.

see subject... it would be great for OneNote to allow you to paste stuff from
Excel, WORD, Power Point, and so on while preserving tables, fonts, etc.

You do have the option to paste the Excel chart or table as a picture in
OneNote, using the smart tag - but yes I agree, it would be nice to preserve
the formatting and be able to edit the table once pasted...

Pictures are nice, but table manipulation in onenote with copy to/from the
other office products would really be optimal. I cannot tell you how many
times I have copied a word docuemnt or powerpoint presentation that happened
to have a table in it, only to lose all of my formattiong.

This is a common request, does anyone have any insight into if/when it will
be addressed?
