It would be handy to be able to attach metadata to containers. The metadata
would be accessible through an object browser or by invoking "Properties..."
of the container. This would allow custom descriptive information to be
attached to the containers that provides further information on the
information contained in the container, that I don't necessarily want to have
visible and cluttering the flow of my notes. The metadata could then serves
as fields that can be used to constrain a search.
Furhtermore, when VBA will be supported in OneNote, and my notebook will
have grown to an unmanageable size, handy operations with VBA will be
possible. A custom VBA example would be to overview how a particular thread
of entries was built by accessing the field of a container of a particular
context, and the time it was created, and then project the summary onto a
timeline using a custom VBA utility or possibly an external program.
