OneNote should be available as an embedded object in other apps.

I use asksam which is an application that led the free form SEARCH
market for a long time. Most apps have since caught up and surpassed
it but it is still pretty useful and FAST.

I can embed all the popular apps in that program except OneNote. Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, Excel Graph - all are available. PDF too.
OpenOffice.org (entire fileset) are available.

Why not allow a OneNote Page to be embeddable in other apps. Wouldn't
it be a great way to add INKING to many many other apps ?

Isn't such capabilities the responsibility of the host application?

Because ON 2 is more programmable, I would expect it to eventually work in a
future version asksam once ON 2 is released.
