OneNote should be compatible with Office 2000 and Office XP docum.

When I choose to insert a document as a picture, I cannot insert anything
other than Office 2003 documents. Backward compatibility has always been a
plus for Microsoft products. I would love to recommend OneNote to my
customers, but not if they have to update their entire suite.

In a way I agree, but I mostly disagree. I like the fact that M$ is moving
forward with a product like OneNote. Backwards compatibility (IMO) causes
more problems than solutions. It leads to security risks most of all by
having excess code for backwards compatibility. Thats one thing I admire
about APPLE...every once in a while they say "Oh well, upgrade or move to
another platform" Yes this is a bold and risky move, but it keeps technology
moving forward.
