OneNote should have Equation Editor.

I type notes for my courses that are saturated with formulas. As a result, I
have encountered two problems:

1. Without equation editor, I have to type equations in PowerPoint, decrease
the size and then copy and paste them into OneNote. I cannot do this from
Word because the equations then look distorted. If I do not decrease the size
(to the point where I cannot see the equation anymore), then the equation in
OneNote becomes too big (and I cannot usually adjust the size once in
OneNote). Also, if I made a mistake typing the formula, I have to repeat the
process.

2. Sharing my notes. When I send my notes via e-mail or when I copy and
paste onto Word, everything transfers but my formulas. So I have to copy each
individually and paste special as an enhanced metafile in order to transfer
them onto word (otehrwise, I cannot see them).

Please help. Please add equation editor and please make transfering the
formulas easier and less time-consuming.

It's a request we've heard before and I'll make sure and pass it along to
the development team. Of course it won't appear before the next version
at the earliest.

Actually, you should be able to run Equation Editor separately, create
your equation in EE, and then copy/paste from EE into OneNote. At
least, that's what I do using EE's big brother, MathType.

This is probably pretty obvious, but if you have a tablet its probably easier
to handwrite them. I only have a desktop so dont use onenote for my course
notes, though a friend uses his tablet to take his notes, and handwrites all
the formulas (of which there are many as its a university physics course).
Anyway, I'm guessing you'd be doing this if you had a tablet, but there you
go.

2. it's because you are pasting an image, not the equation. (that's also
part of the problem with #1)

Not sure if this'll help, but I have Word on my machine and have downloaded
EE, however, I just use the snipping tool available on the Tablet website.
