OneNote should have the capability to make flash cards for
studying/memorizing vocabulary, or science terms, or short facts. It would be
a really simple function: the cards could be the size of sticky notes, with
just one tab to 'flip' the question card over and show you the answer on the
'back' of the card (or it could have a setting to show the answer after a set
period of time). The cards could be organized in decks and you could have the
option to be shown one deck or combine a couple of decks. It could also
shuffle the deck(s) for you and give you the cards in random order.
This is such a useful idea that, now that I think of it, there probably is
flash card software out there already...I'm going to go try and find it, but
it would be excellent if this were a feature of OneNote, because then you
could SO easily take the questions and answers (or words and definitions,
what have you) directly from your notes.
