I want to use OneNote on more than one computer and keep a common file base.
I can't figure out how to keep a backup copy on a thumb memory.

Simple way is to open Windows Explorer and drag/drop the files to the USB
thumb drive.

Yes, your way works. But it is not elegant and it requires muscle. I would like to see a one-click solution.

write a batch that copies it... then one click on the batch does it :)

 I didn't say it was elegant, only that it is fairly simple to do. You
know exactly which files you're getting.
