OneNote should let me make charts

M

Mac

I would like to make charts and graphs as well as being able to bring in
Powerpoint slides.

I would also like to be able to draw straighter lines. Maybe by holding down
(SHIFT or CTRL).

Charting and graphic is really Excel's area -- OneNote wasn't designed for
that kind of thing. You can bring charts and graphs from Excel into OneNote
if you want to, but you can't manipulate them once they are there -- only
annotate them.

You can already bring in PowerPoint slides. Printing them to OneNote with
the PowerToy is one way.

Straighter lines is a little tougher -- but you could use a ruler to assist.

There's also the PowerPoint to OneNote powertoy. I used it just this
week to import the slides from a Microsoft Momentum presentation to go
with the notes I took in OneNote during that presentation. Works great!
