OneNote should use a treeview widget so subnotes can be hidden

Craig Errey

i have many tens (i.e. 40ish and growing) of primary pages in about 5
sections, with each page having many tens (i.e. 20 - 30ish) of subpages.

please add a (+) and (-) widget (like a standard treeview) so i can collapse
the subpages and see all of my primary pages in a single window (despite
having a 1920x1200 res screen)

thanks

That is a popular request and, frankly, a good one. I would not be
surprised to see something like that in the next major version.

It's so obvious it's hard to understand why it wasn't implemented from
the start. Would it help if new notes were created at the top vs. the
bottom ?

I very strongly agree! This is seemingly amazing that it was not done.
Something so small yet so important. The closest comparison to notes is
"Treepad".
