Password Protection is there when I go to File. And it opens the pane.
But, still not sure if I'm running the latest SP1. When I 'Check Updates
from OneNote Help' it goes to the MS download center and tells me I need
OneNote SP1.
I've tried installing from the MS Website. The file comes down successfully
, but the upgrade bombs out.
I then tried both:
OneNote2003SP1-kb842774-client-enu.exe and
OneNote2003SP1-kb842774-fullfile-enu.exe
Both of these tell me 'the expected version of the product is not found on y
our system.'
I am running OneNote2003 (11.6360.6360) SP1 - maybe this is the latest
revision - but I can't rename page tabs from numbers. I thought this was an
SP1 feature.
PS I specifically bought a new copy of OneNote at CompUSA to try to get the
upgrade working.
Any advice? Thanks for your help.
Hi,
I think you already have SP1 installed.
11.6360.6360 *is* SP1.
So, the SP1 installer detects that and, quite sensibly, refuses to go
any further.
Page tabs could be named in the original RTM. So, if the page tab
naming issue is the only issue for you then I don't think that's an
SP1 issue.
Let's be sure that we are talking about the same thing. You are
talking about the page tabs on the right (or left, depending on
options set) of the page? Correct?
If you hit Ctrl+N to create a new page then type "Hello" in the paler
area labelled Title towards the top of the new page does the text
"Hello" appear in the tab at the side of the page? Or a number?
Towards the extreme bottom right of the page there is a small white
arrow on a grey circle. Click that. Do you now see the page title on
the page tabs?
