OneNote support in windows Mobile

Mario Michela

I don't understand why one can sychronize and view onenote documents from a
pocket pc. it seems the product was developed with mobility as a key design
feature so I'm bewildered that this suggestion even need be made.
anyone else have any thoughts on the matter?

I assume you mean "can't"? <g>

There are lots of features that in hindsight it seems "obvious" that
should have been included. The dev team had a limited amount of time in
which to produce this product from scratch. Full two-way sync and
viewing capabilities on WM are more complicated than it would seem.

The product was designed for note taking, not for any inherent mobility
features.

I view my pda as a portable onenote taker - take your notes as normal on the
pda and when you sync and open onenote there they are ready to go.

I am not sure I can see the other direction moving of notes, we have all
seen what can happen to word docs with lots of formating when you sync both
ways.

A PDA version of OneNote has been a very popular feature request.
Hopefully the OneNote team will be able to do something with it in the next
version.
