OneNote Sync

I do not know how to Sync my PDA with my Laptop...If I go to the File tab
Sync the Sync Part of it is shaded and cannot Sync....any advice?

File | Sync is for syncing shared notebooks located on a shared file
location.

To sync with your PDA you need ActiveSync.

Yes...I do have that part...I able to Sync...I even have OneNote akready in
my PDA, but once I open in my PC OneNOte i cannot acces the Sync Menu...is
shaded and only says "work off line"...This is where I am lost...

You don't sync with the PDA using File | Sync. Open ActiveSync and you
should have the option there to include OneNote in your synchronization.

Yep. But:
a) It works with WM 5.0 only in Phone Edition
b) For WM 6.0 synchronization this feature is available only in English
version of OneNote (I use Russian one and OneNoteMobile.cab by default is not
even included in Office distributive).

Actually it also works with Windows Mobile 2003.

Can't help you with the Russian issue - maybe in a future version they'll
internationalize a bit more.

In any event File | Sync has nothing to do with syncing with a mobile
device.
