OneNote task bar icon options.

1. Move the option to display the icon from the Tools>Options>Other menu to
the Tools menu to make it easier to access.
2. Is there a way to start OneNote when Windows starts but in a minimized
form in the system tray?

Regarding #1, typically options that are set once and usually not
(frequently) changed again are intended to go under the Tools | Options
menu.

Regarding #2, you can put a copy of the full OneNote icon in the Startup
Folder under your Start Menu. Modify the icon's "Run" setting (on the
Shortcut tab) to "Minimized".

If you're just looking to have quick access to OneNote at any time,
remember that WindowKey-N will open up OneNote in the Side Notes window,
and from there, you can restore the window to get access to all of your
OneNote files. This way OneNote is a keystroke away if needed, but doesn't
take up extra RAM when it's not needed.
