OneNote text to Word

JASTMS

I have OneNote with SP1 instaled and I understand that I should be able to
export OneNote text to Word, but the "send to" option box is empty and,
likewise, the "save as" feature does not include Word format as an option.
What do I do?

Are you using Word 2003? If you aren't, it won't work. (OneNote talks to the
Office 2003 products and not to others without outside intervention.)

Have you tried the Publish Pages item in the File menu?

I use this, and select MS Word document from the save as type dropdown
(having said that, my Send To option includes both Mail Recipient and
MS Office Word).

If that doesn't work, I'm out of ideas :(

Hi - can someone tell me what the upgrade path is from word 2000 to word
2003, or do I have to update the entire office product.

The MS site is very confusing - so I would realllly like an answer on this.

You'd be better off asking about regular Office products in one of those
newsgroups, but if you have only Word 2000, I would guess you're just going
to get Word 2003 again. The Word program I would really suggest just wiping
your present installation and then installing the new version. Your current
saved files will be updated as you use them.

I would suggest the same thing if you have any of the Office 2000 suites.
