OneNote to open to a default or specific page.

When OneNote launches it returns to the same page that was open when I last
used it. However, since I am often jumping from one project to another I
would prefer it to open to a default page, similar to Outlook always opens to
inbox.

Rob,
While I don't know if you can always open to a specific page, I do know that
one of the OneNote switches allows you to define which section is the
default page to open to. If you go to the Help Task pane and look for
"onenote command line switches" (either with or without the quotes), your
third choice will be "Customize how OneNote starts" - on that page is a
list of the command line switches.

To really do what you want, you would create a section with a single page in
it. On that page, drop a link to each OneNote section file in your notebook.
Use the command line switch to always open to that page. You can then
quickly navigate to whatever page you need. (If you wanted to take this idea
even further, you could add a second page with your current note flag
summary page. You would then have a negotiable system to get to your open
notes.

The easy way would be to make a shortcut on your desktop, quicklaunch bar or
start menu to a specific section in your My Notebook folder.
