onenote trial activation problem

Installed the OneNote trial, but can't get past the activation window.

The activation wizard seems to be unable to deal with our proxy
authentication process. Most apps that try to connect over the internet
somehow invoke a dialog box into which I type my proxy id/password combo.
OneNote does not do so. It simply reports that there's no internet
connection and leaves me stuck.

Without the activation I am unable to interact in any way with OneNote.

It's been a while since I've done it but I think you can activate by
telephone. Check the activation screen for that option.

Thanks, but I should have included in my original post the point that the
telephone option is greyed out.

Can you check with your systems administrator about how to get thru your
Proxy?
