OneNote Trial - Install Issue and Mobile Issue

1) OK, I used the betas and the technical refresh patch and I was quite
impressed. I installed the Trial Version of ON 2007 and I'm ready to buy.

However, when I tried to "buy" a product key during the installation of the
Trial version, the MS web page that the progrm took me to said, "We're sorry,
but an error occurred when trying to process the Input Parameter". Anyone
else get this?

2) I'd like to replace the ON Mobile beta on my PPC with the "released"
version. However all attempts to do this have failed miserably. I get an
error on my PPC saying that it can't install the cab file. I also find that
I'm unable to remove the beta from the device. Again, anyone else see this?
Is there a solution?

Thanks,
Tom S.

1) You can't purchase anything before January 30. Office 2007 (OneNote
is part of it) has not been releases to retail and OEM customers.
I'll leave 2) up to someone who actually has ON Mobile installed. My PPC
is a PocketPC 2002, and hence way too old for it.

Yeah, I finally figured this out. I was syncing to two computers. I
couldn't uninstall the beta till I uninstalled it from the Active Sync on
both computers. I unchecked the sync to OneNote in the Active Sync options
as well.

Once the uninstall of the beta on the PPC was done, the install of the trial
version onto the PPC from the OneNote options dialog went smoothly.

BTW for those who are wondering, the trial version is well worth installing
if for no other reason than the copy/cut/paste are included. They weren't in
the beta.

Thanks, again.
