Onenote view should inlude a timeline (similar to journal)

A timeline view of OneNote entries grouped by Folder, Section, in a similar
fashion to that provided on Outlook Journal would be very useful. Be even
better if Categories could be assigned to OneNote entries and the timeline
grouped by Category

They've actually considered that feature in the past and thought about the
best way to implement it. I wouldn't be surprised to see it in a future
version of OneNote, though I don't know how soon.

I'd like to see just a simple notation in the margin indicating when new
typing was entered into the notes. Is this what you're talking about?

Try EverNote - it's defnining feature is the TimeLine.

Generating a timeline for OneNOte might be hard as OneNote is not
really a program, it is a viewer to disconected .one files.
It's possible though.

Look for this feature in OneNote 2.0 in Christmas 2006 ( 1 year from
now )
