OneNote vs. Franklin Covey Plan Plus

Newbie

I'm switching from FC PlanPlus to try OneNote. I have a dumb question...do I
have to uninstall Plan Plus before I install OneNote since they both
interface with Outlook. The reason I'm trying OneNote is because of
compatability issues with PlanPlus. I'm assuming since OneNote and Outlook
are both Microsoft products they will coexist better together.

Please advise.

You shouldn't have any problems. As long as the FC plug-in is written well
(and I have no reason to believe it's not) it should be able to exist with
other Outlook plug-ins.

Is that the only reason you're switching to OneNote?

I have a techie in my church is raving about OneNote. I never made the
conceptual switch to FC PP. It was not very user-friendly. I don't have a
tablet PC (yet) but anticipate that purchase this year.

I want a tool that put everything related in one place without much effort
or thinking on my part. One strike against OneNote is that I have a Pocket
PC.

Thanks.

You should certainly give ON a try. I don't see how a PPC is a strike
against OneNote, though...

OneNote should do the job for you. There is a limited-time evaluation
version you can download from the Microsoft website so you can try it
out before plunking down the cash.

Not really. You can import your Notes from the PPC over to OneNote
(doesn't go the other way -- yet). The next version of OneNote is
supposed to have a PPC component to go with it.
