Online Access to Email as in Entourage

Hi,

I am a Mac user that has just purchased a pc laptop and want to know
how to have online access to emails as you can in Entourage for Mac.
This allows you to delete mail off the server one at a time. In
Outlook it seems that the only alternative to not downloading all
messages is to leave all messages on the server for a specified time
period. Is there anyway I can change the download status of individual
emails?

You will need to use an IMAP type account in Outlook to do
the same since the Mac mail uses IMAP.

Outlook Express cannot do this, but there are various third-party products
