I am using Office 2004 for the Mac. I have tried using the online clip
art for my mac. After i download the clip art does not import and
dragging the clip art is not allowable. Any ideas? Thanks

Try adding ".cil" to the end of the file that was downloaded. It's been
awhile since I've done it, but try double clicking it. The key is that (for
whatever reason), it doesn't come with the .cil tag that it needs.

adding that "cil" to the end of the file name which is always called
"clipart" did the trick. Thank you for a quick fix to a frustrating
problem.. Now that I have your attention, can you also tell me If I
can change the background of one slide so that it is different from
the rest of the theme slides in a ppt. presentation? Is that
possible?

thanks

Command-Click the slide & select the feature to be changed. In the dialog
where you make the change look for the option to change just the current
slide. The exact location & wording varies depending on whether you're
changing the Background, Design, or Color Scheme.

I'll give it a try tonight. Thank you so much for your help. I was
really stuck.
