When I download my email to Entourage, I always leave a copy of my mail on the server so as to have web-mail access from other computers (at work for example). I noticed this evening that Entourage was starting to download a couple thousand messages and knew something had to be wrong. (OK, so I don't bother to delete all messages after I read them). Anyway, then I saw that ALL the messages in Entourage that should have the letter icon showing that I have left copies on the server are now without the icon. Entourage now wants to download all the same messages again from the server!
What caused this, and is there a way I can get Entourage to recognize the duplicate messages so it won't download all of them again?
