Online Storage for ON 2007

Hello,

I want to collaborate with a few friends on a One Note 2007 project. We are
all not on the same network so I can't use a shared Network drive like I do
at home. Of course, I thought I could use Groove which is why I bought
Windows Office Ultimate just to get it home and find out you can't use it.

So now I am looking for some hosting options. Does anyone have any? Here
is what I found so far.

XDrive - This seemed like a great option, but installs are very difficult.
On two machines I had to manually configure the loopback adapter and my
laptop still won't connect. Also forget about Vista and now that AOL owns it
forget about support. There aren't even forums anymore. Still, with the
computers that I could get it to work with, this seemed like a good option.

GoDaddy Online Folder Share. I think this is WebDav and I read here that it
is not really supported, but that was for plain webDav servers. What is a
plain server? One running apache? What if I used this with WebDrive Client?
Would it work then?

FilesAnywhere. This looks like another WebDav hosting, but is it plain.
Will ON07 work with it?

If anyone can point me in the right direction of a way to do this, I would
very much appreciate it. I would rather not have to host the solution here
at my house by putting up my own server and having the others connect to it.

Thanks

Consider using hamachi and letting one person host the files. The
others will cache until the host is present.

Thank you, that is a solution. The reason I was looking for an online
vendor is for speed. We only have simple DSL and a hosted option would be a
bit faster.
