I have not been able to get the Online Updates to work for Office 2007.
Whenever I click on the Update button, it gets about 46% done and then locks
up Internet Explorer. When updates come through automatically, they always
fail. I tried using the original CD to see if I could repair the software,
but it always abends saying that it was unsuccessful. I tried removing the
software and it said that it was unsuccessful. I also tried to re-install the
software and once again I get the message saying that it was unsuccessful.
This problem is happening on my HP desktop PC running Windows XP. Anyone
have any idea on what the problem is? Why can't I at least uninstall the
software?
Thanks,
Ron
