Is there a problem with the updates currently posted on
the Microsoft update pages? I have installed patches and
updates before with little or no difficulty, however over
the last 3 days I can't seem to get anything to work. I
have applied the new MSBlaster Worm patch and scanned my
system with the Norton scanning tool to eliminate the
possiblity of virus contamination. I am having problems
downloading IE 6.1 SP1, Office 2000 SP3, drivers
associated with my system after the initial update scan,
and various security patches.

Hi Nathan,

There may be a volume problem as quite a few people
are updating because of concern about the worm causing
the site to be 'busy'.

Have you tried downloading any of the updates directly
from http://office.microsoft.com/downloads or
http://microsoft.com/downloads for install after downloading?
