Only a few of the folders on my local and remote site display

When I bring up FrontPage 2003, only a few of the user folders that are in my
local files and (the same) few on the remote site display. The others are
there, they just don't show up on the FrontPage display. I cannot upload any
of the files that I can't see, so I have to go to FTP to upload them and that
seems to be messing with the FP Extensions.

Hi Jerry,

To see the other folders go to:

Tools | Site Settings | Advanced | and check the box that says " show hidden
files and folders" and then click Apply and OK

In addition to Joe's reply, after you have set the show hidden folder attribute, the other hidden
folder you should never touch and they should never be uploaded to the live remote server.

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the reply. That check box was already checked. I display 3 of
about 25 user folders. Looks like the first three alphabetically by name.
Same in both local and remote panes.

Hi Jerry,

That's very odd..they should show that way..have you tried hitting F5 to see
if they then show? Also you might want to try running a repair of
FrontPage..you can access that from the help menu and will probably need the
cd during the process. Also you might want to go to Steve's site and
download and run FP cleaner..do that when you have FrontPage closed:

Frontpage would upload those hidden files (and they are hidden for a
reason). In its process to publish by HTTP Frontpage keeps track of what
needs publishing.

So even by publishing those files by FTP, as you've said, it will mess up
the FP extensions - you need to Publish by HTTP in Frontpage.
