Only Enterprise Views

Is there any way of not showing the local (Global.mpt) views when working
online? This is because we have our own Enterprise Gant Chartt, Enterprise
Tracking Gantt, Enterprise Task usage and so on, and I really don't need the
"standard" ones. Nowadays I have twice more views than I need.

I know I can delete them from the Global.mpt file, but by doing that I will
loose them forever, even when working offline.

I'm using MsP 2003.

Thanks.

No, there is no way to eliminate local objects, such as Views or Tables,
from view for each user. Hope this helps.

Thanks Dale,
the thing is that I'm a fan of the "View bar" and If I choose not to show a
certain view on the view bar, disabling the "View in menu" option in the view
definition, the next time I open project, it will be back...

Any idea how to change this?

Thanks

If you click View - More Views, select a View and click the Edit button, you
can deselect the "Show in menu" option and click the OK button. But then
you must click the Organizer button in the More Views dialog and copy the
customized View from the project into the Global.mpt file. This will take
care of your problem. But if you are wanting to do this for everyone, there
is no easy way to do this. Hope this helps.

Dale,
ended up creating a macro that turns off the standard views. Associated a
button to it and now it's damn easy to turn all those silly views off.

Thanks.
