Only month view in Start & Finish columns

[A little stuck]

Is it possible to have only the month shown in the Start & Finish columns to
the left of the gantt chart?

Yes. Go to Tools/Options/View tab. I don't have Project open at the
moment but from memory I believe you want to select desired format from
the Date Format selection box.

If that doesn't work, add a Custom field with a formula that shows month
only.
