having problem with both email addy's ([email protected] and
(e-mail address removed)) downloading some messages but not all. the counter
in the bottom right corner may say for example recieving 5 new messages &
count them down but only maybe 3 will appear. none going to spam, no rules
set up. what i've been having to do is go to the web mail servers (clearwire
& earthlink) & see what didn't download (btw i have it set to leave a copy on
the server for this very reason). Please Help!

HI...I've had something similiar happening...using Outlook 2007 on a
Vista machine...you didn't say what you were using. The bottom corner
of my screen might say downloading 20 emails but I am watching my
inbox and nothing is coming in. Nothing went to junk mail folder
either. But if I click on Outlook Today (or what ever the top of the
tree is called there on the left) and then click back to my
Inbox...all 20 new emails are there. Things never used to work like
this...one of those "updates" must have changed something somewhere
along the line...the fix of having to click on a different view then
click back to the inbox is annoying but at least I am not losing my
emails. Now if only I knew what caused this weird problem so I could
fix it permenantly!

i haven't tried that but will. been watching the web mail (yuk) for the 2
accounts (one earthlink & other clearwire which uses gmail) & I find quite a
few on there but not in the inbox. I'm using outlook 2007 with xp operating
system.

that seems to work for me also; sure would like to see a "fix" for it tho as
I normally never go to that outlook today section; just rely on the reminders
that pop up for calendar entries.

I'm glad to know that it is not just my computer that this is
happening to (even though I wish neither of us had this problem!) . I
wonder how many other people are experiencing it? Since I have Vista
and you have XP it must then be a problem with Outlook 2007. Wonder
if Microsoft will think it is enough of an issue to fix it? But at
least it is an easy work around until they do.

i don't know; it needs reporting i think but i wouldn't know how to report it.
