I set an appointment, leave Outlook and the PC running with no power or
screen saving features enabled, but manually switch the monitor off
while doing something else. When I switch the monitor on after the
appointment time, the screen is like I left it, but when I activate
Outlook, the office assistant of Office 2000 comes to life and politely
apologizes that it has forgotten to remind me of my appointments by
saying "Oops, I nearly forgot", but it did not "nearly" forget, it
forgot completely. Why is that?
