Oops lost my data1.ms1 file

When I try to start excel, I'm told that I need to insert
my Office 2000 Premium CD in order to find a file named
data1.ms1.

Unfortunately, I cannot find my original CD.

How did I get in this unfortunate mess??? I was trying
to manually eradicate some adware, and I removed a
program that I guess I shouldn't have.

What do I do now??
