What's OPCS?
One OPCS is a program that runs on an IBM PC to control optical
printers, automating the camera and projector shutters, fader, color
wheels, follow-focus zooms, etc.

No, it's not really AS1 and you still need AS3 or greater to use it. It's an
addin that allows you to sync multiple contacts folders with a PPC. IMHO, it
does it in a lame way, unlike the palm software that does it 'right'.

ActiveSync (any version) only syncs one folder, but this software copies the
contacts to a folder so they can be synced.

"The Outlook Pocket Contact Synchronizer does not synchronize contacts
directly to a device. First, it copies contacts from the folders you specify
into your default contacts folder in Outlook. This is a one-way
synchronization, and a duplicate set of contacts is created.

When you click the Outlook PCS button to synchronize, the items in your
default folder are then cross-checked with your contacts back in the
specified folder. The next time you use Microsoft ActiveSync® 3.0 or later,
your new contact data will appear on your Windows CE or Pocket PC device.

You can synchronize as many folders as you like, and Outlook PCS will do all
the work for you."

Thanks for the definition Diane. I should have been more
specific. Teach me to write posts while still agrevated
by the problem.

We have several contacts folders for clients, vendors, etc
that I want to sync with my activesync but as I have a new
machine with Office 2003 installed I can no longer install
the Outlook Pocket Contact Synchronizer. If anyone knows
of a better program for synchronizing public folders with
an iPaq I would be grateful.
