Open a new instance

Good day,

I was wondering what I had to to do to force Excel to
open a new instance when I open more than one workbook.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you want a completly "new instance" of Excel or just "Windows in Taskbar"?

The first can be accomplished by setting Tools>Options>General "ignore other
applications" to on(checked).

Start your second workbook via Windows Explorer or a shortcut on the desktop.
Do not open second through File>Open.

"Windows in Taskbar" is set at Tools>Options>View.
