open a visio file

I've spend yesterday afternoon on a drawing. Wanted to open it this morning
but no effect. Visio freezes and uses 100% cpu time. So I did the same
drawing this afternoon... guess what? I saved it several times and opened it
again, no problem. I did the final detail and saved it again.... now this
file wont open again'... my wife has just kept me from throwing my pc through
the window.... please tell me there is a way to open one of my files....
One is 7.120.384 bytes big, the other 7.110.656 bytes. There is an autocad
drawing in the background and a visio drawing layered over it...

Thanks for ur help!!

Bimmer, that's a Bummer!

Not a lot I can say with this info, but if the file is not full of
confidential stuff, maybe you could post it on the net somewhere/somehow and
some of us could try and open it.

And whenever you are re-building a trouble-some file, always save
incremental backups as you go along, so that you'll have a better idea of
what causes the problem, and you won't have to start completely over when
you do find a work around!

Chris,

That is my problem, it is a map of a chemical plant (including equioment)
with a layer of firefighting systems over it... so I can't publish it on the
net...

I hav downloaded 2007 version and once again making the drawing... i know
what to draw by now :)

Thanks for the help anyways.. andeh yeah its a bummer :)
