Open Access 97 Files in Access 95

To open an Access 97 mdb and use the front end you need Access 97 or later.
To get at just the data you may be able to use some other application that's
compatible with Access 97 - such as MS Query.

You can link to Access 95 data tables from Access 97. Once linked, you can
write the data to new Access 97 tables.

The short answer, Terrence, is that you can't. For a slightly longer answer,
with information about converting an Access 97 MDB to Access 95, see the
following URL, but note that this is not a trivial undertaking and you'll
probably need Access 97 (or at least temporary access, no pun intended, to a
PC with Access 97 installed) to complete the process.
