Open Access Application

Hello
I have successfully opened an Excel Application from word.
Now I need to be able to open an Access Application from word (Using a
cmdbutton).
The same methodology does not work with Access because I have my access
application to open to a specific form automatically.

any suggestions?

Mark suggested me try the followhyperlink......... it works, but in order
for me to actually get access to open, I am needing to go into the task
manager and end the access process before it will open... not sure why.

Im not very familiar with the "shell" end of vba

I have access opening, but how to I place the name of the file to open with
the path?
The file is in a different folder than MSAccess.exe.
