Open attachments - Review Tool Bar Shows

This has been an ongoing problem and one that is becomine
quite annoying.

I am running Office 2003. Whenever I open a Word or Excel
attachment (the applications I use most), the Reviewing
Tool Bar always pops up in the middle of my screen.

I have looked everywhere for the option to turn this off
so the tool bar does not display. But it does not seem
that everyone has this problem and MS support does not
seem to have the answer.

Can anyone else help me?

Try docking it and then it won't "pop up".

I apologize for my lack of clarity. I basically do not
want it to display at all. I thought there would be a
reviewing option activated somewhere that I could
deselect. Then this tool bar would not show unless I
choose it for document revisions.

Any other ideas? This does happen through attachments
opened from Outlook. I have also looked throughout
Outlooks Options to see if something is activiated there.

Other thoughts are appreciated.

If you have Outlook set to show track changes, this toolbar will always
appear.

To change this behavior, uncheck the option from
Outlook->Tools->Options->Email options->Advanced->Add properties to
attachments to enable Reply with Changes.
