Open dialog box takes too much time to respond

Hi All,

I am using office 2003 and notiched that opening the dialog box to load a
different files takes too much time to respond. Like when I click on a
folder it may take like 30 seconds or more.

Any idea how to fix it?

That's usually because you have some inaccessible link in the directory
tree. Check for disused or unobtainable mapped drives or if a URL has got
into the directory, etc.
