Open Dialog Box

Every time I open MS Word, I get an error message
telling me I have an open Dialog Box. After closing
the error window, everything is fine -- but it's a pain!

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I use Office 2003

Are you also using Word as your email editor in Outlook?

If so then the only solution we have so far is to not use Word as the
email editor. :-(

You're not alone.

I'm having the same problem. I have Office Professional 2003. When I turn
on my computer and see the desktop I usually go to Start/documents and select
a recent WORD document. The same dialog box pops up that says I have an
opened dialog box. I have no dialog boxes open. I click OK and then the
Word document opens. This only happens for WORD documents. I tried if for
an Excel document and a PDF file and they opened fine.

I have Norton Internet Security, and I also have Windows XP Professional. I
haven't done the service pack 2 update yet.

I'd appreciate any hints as to how to fix this problem. But I don't know
much about computers, and I don't want to try things that will make things
worse..if you know what I mean. :)
