Open doc while locking by the user

i have an application to make use word to generate fax in the server.

however, the Word (server application) stops the operation to run the doc
file while some users open such doc file at the same time.

and ask whether to open the doc file at read-only mode in the server.

but no one stay looking at the server, then all applications (make use of
the Word) will stop too.

How can let Word to bypass keep asking "open the file at read-only mode"?
My answer is "Yes".
