Open email, but leave unread

Hi,

I started using Outlook 2007 at the office. I manage 2 inboxes: min
and Help Desk. The volume of daily emails is very high. Sometimes
just want to quickly read an email and move on to the next one fo
prioritization reasons.

Is there a way to double-click open an email but leave it unread all a
the same time? Is there a key + mouse combo for this?

Off the top of my head I can't think of a way to do that, but you could use
the Reading Pane to read the messages and just configure the Reading Pane to
not mark messages as read.
