Open email ribbon

Jeff

Hello,
When you hover on Outlook in Windows 7 there is a ribbon that pops up with all of your open emails. Hovering over the email shows you the content. Is there a way to close an email in this ribbon without the whole ribbon closing down?

Thanks
J.

Are you speaking of the thumbnail preview windows that appear when you hover
over your Windows Taskbar? As long as you have an open handle on the taskbar,
you'll see a thumbnail. Closing Outlook won't close the other applications
you have running and so their thumbnails continue to be available.

Correct, I am speaking of the thumbnails in the task bar when you hover
over the Outlook icon.

So, how do you close the thumb nails WITHOUT the bar closing?

Right-click-close Window. And it might have been a good idea to mention the
taskbar in your first post...

That doesn't work, you may want to provide the right answer before telling me I didn't state a question to meet your elitist forum taste. How about following mommies rules and don't say anything if you cannot say something nice, Gordon ... AKA .... Mr. Wrong Answer.

Does a ribbon pop up when you hover on a desktop icon ... uh no.

Does a ribbon pop up when you hover on Start menu for Outlook? ... uh no.

Do you feel better about yourself because you think you can correct someone in an open public forum? ... uh yes.

You are a true DH.

I cannot stand you wanna be support hacks; you think cause you know what RAM means you are some sort of authority to correct how people ask a question about something on a computer?

uggg ... cannot stand people like you at all..

I QUOTE from YOUR post:
"Correct, I am speaking of the thumbnails in the task bar when you hover

The answer I gave you is correct. Right click on the THUMBNAIL and choose
Close Window. That closes the thumbnail BUT NOT THE TASKBAR as you asked in
your post.

WHAT DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND ABOUT THAT?
