Open embedded pdf in Acrobat

I'm using ppt 2004 v11.2 on a g5 with osx tiger. When I try to insert a
pdf file as an object, powerpoint tells me that the native application
can't be found. How can I get powerpoint to see Acrobat? Thanks for any
help.

Try linking to the PDF instead.
