Open hyperlink in new window

I'd like for hyperlinks that send users away from my site
to open in a new window. I can accomplish this by editing
the html files created by Publisher.
Is there a way to code the link within Publisher to
accomplish this. I hate having to go back and edit these
pages everytime.

I recommend against editing the html file yourself.
I cover your topic on my site. Simply go to the section for the version you
are using and look for the article on New Browser windows.

I read your advice on linking and a new window opening, however, using the
Java script (sample on your site) doesn't work when the link is on a picture
located elsewhere (another directory.) MSP2000 (my version) tells me the
HTML tag will be converted to graphic. How do I correct this?

The code box must be layered with other objects. You can't layer objects.
