Open mdb in the network

Nuno Gomes

Hello,

I've made a mdb and the base is in the PC1.

Now, i try to use that mdb in other PC (PC2) and it shows the next message:
"The Microsoft Access can't open this file.
This file is located out of the intranet or in a non secure site. Microsoft
Access don't open because os secure problems.
To open the file, copy to the disk or to a accessible location in the
network."

PC1 and PC2 have WinXP Pro and AccessXP (2000) instaled.
I've map a network drive to \\PC1\BASE with permitions read/write...
I don't have domain controler. There is only a workgroup...

Can someone help me about this question.

Thank you,

Nuno Gomes

On pc2 open internet explorer and add the local intranet and all network
paths to trusted sites.
