Open Multiple Attachments in Outlook 2003 (XP Pro O/S)

Until a recent melt-down I was using Outlook 2000. I decided to load Outlook
2003 thinking I might as well update seeing as I had to reinstall Outlook
anyway.

I've noticed a couple of things different in 2003 from 2000 and I'm
wondering if I'm just missing a preference or something, or if Microsoft
changed things for some reason.

In Outlook 2000 I could use a contact's nickname to send an email. ie my
husband's name is Michael and I typed hubby into nickname. Then when I sent
an email to Michael I didn't have to worry about accidentally sending it to
one of the other 5 Michael's that we know. This was a very useful feature
and it doesn't seem to work anymore. If it's gone, how do I submit a request
for it to be put back? If it isn't gone, how do I make it work?

The other feature that doesn't seem to work, is multiple attachment opening.
If I received an email with multiple attachments, (quite common in my line
of work) I could highlight them all using the shift or control key and hit
enter and they would all open launching whatever program(s) was needed to run
them. That doesn't work anymore. Now I have to open them individually,
which is very time consuming and annoying. This was a very useful feature
and it doesn't seem to work anymore. If it's gone, how do I submit a request
for it to be put back? If it isn't gone, how do I make it work?

Thanks!
