Open Office files

Hi

I have a problem with opening word,excel,powerpoint files in my documents.
If I double click or choose open when I right click a word document nothing happens.
If I run the word program before I do that it works!

It's Office 2003 Standard running og Windows 2000 Professional.

Any ideas?
