open .one files in word...

Ok, last one before I dive through the entire discussion for answers...

Can onenote files (.one) be opened by word (office 2003) at present? I
attempted this and word looked for a language to convert to. Many of my
classmates do not yet have onenote (I'm trying though) and you can imaging
the cumbersome task of aopying and pasting each and every typing field to
..doc pages in word... it's a good 30 minutes for +/- 10 typed pages (single
spaced) from the various pages and subpages I've created for assignments to
be emailed. As far as future upgrades go, this one would be huge.

No, Word can't open OneNote files directly. However, from OneNote, you can
save note pages as Word documents or you can send sections/pages/notes to
Word and save them there. This functionality was added with SP1. If you need
details, let us know :)

I have Word 2003, but am still in trial mode for onenote... is the
functionality available with the full download?

thanks for the instructions... it works great and the automatic formating of
the pages and subpages into Word solves the page waste. I can't say enough
how well this conversion works, and it looks great right down to the font
sizing of page headers and time/date stamps. Well Done!!!

if you haven't seen it somewhere already, here's the skinny...
select (SHIFt + click) pages/subpages at right side of section to be
converted to Word (2003), then File, Send To >, Microsoft Word Document. Done
and done.

Hi,
The "send to" command on my OneNote 2003 is empty. (I have Office XP). How
can I send my OneNote pages to Word, as explained in this thread ?

(By the way: I've dreamed for years of a software like OneNote. Thank you
for having done it)

Office 2003 (and therefore Word 2003) is required for some of the
functionalities.
