open .pdf in adobe

I have PowerPoint 2007. I am adding a .pdf file to my presentation using
Insert>Object>From File and inserting the .pdf. Is there a way that during
the slideshow I can click on the inserted .pdf object and have it open in
Adobe?

Yes. Go to the Animations tab and click Custom Animation to open the pane.

Add the effect option. Add Effect | Object Actions | Open.

Test in Slide Show View.

Keeping in mind, that if you distribute your presentation the recipients
must have adobe on their systems also.
